Pets are a late-game hobby. Cat first, then dog — adopt, care, bond; dogs can learn commands.

1. Unlock (Late)

• DG Level 12 (late unlock, multiple days).
• Prereqs: Cooking, Gardening, Fishing, Birdwatching, Bug Catching unlocked.
• Use Hobby Expansion Ticket on Cat Care.
• Find Mrs. Joan (Adoption Center / Pet Shop) for tutorial.

⚠️ Must unlock Cat Care before Dog Care.

2. Adoption

1. Go to Adoption Center (Mrs. Joan).
2. Browse daily-rotating pets.
3. Check breed/gender/personality.
4. Pay adoption fee.
5. Pet sent to your home.
